FarmLink History
A world in which agriculture is easy and farmers are happy.
Here is the history of FarmLink.
2008~2014
FarmLink Takes Its First Step.
"Controlling side windows of Korean melon greenhouses in Seongju with mobile phone text messages"
- Developed a monitoring and control system using mobile
phones and ubiquitous technology for Korean melon
greenhouses. (May, 2008) - Developed a tested technology for u-Greenhouse application model. (2009)
- Participated in the intelligent greenhouse development
project by Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute. (2011- 2013)
FarmLink Leaps Forward.
"Pursuing the development of products that are suitable for actual farming rather than seeking differentiated technology"
- Carried out the ICT convergence and integration modeling project of the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs.
"A project for building the melon production and distribution system through IT convergence and integration" (2012) - USN growth management/E-commerce/LED for raising seedlings/product certification/mobile/social media
FarmLink Shows Growth.
FarmLink v1.0
The First Distributed Processing Cloud
Smart Farm in Korea
"A general-purpose platform for managing growth environment for controlled horticulture based on IoT, cloud, and big data"
- Registered as a smart farm contractor of controlled
horticulture for the ICT expansion project by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs.
Started installing the system in farm houses. (2014) - Installed in two melon farms (15 greenhouses) in Seongju, Gyeongbuk Province.
- Upgraded the existing system substantially to an advanced system suitable for the requirements of the farms.
2015~2018
FarmLink Expands.
FarmLink v2.0 Modular Automation-Based Smart Farm
"FarmLink expands its applicability to various crops and greenhouse structures, showing how it can be expanded in the field."
- FarmLink was recognized for its expandability for crops by installing the system in farm houses that grow melon, pepper, tomato, flower, strawberry, etc.
- The system is modularized so that they can be customized and installed for various greenhouse structures such as a single-type tunnel greenhouse, a single-type triple greenhouse, a collective-type greenhouse, and a glass greenhouse.
- The system allows you to configure the customized automation settings according to the automation needs of the farm.
FarmLink Innovates.
FarmLink v3.0 Wireless-based Reconfigurable Smart Farm
"Cloud Smart Farm with Standardized Components and
Wireless Connection"
- The smart farm of the future is implemented as a wireless-
based smart farm equipped with a battery-powered wireless sensor, a wireless controller not requiring wiring work,
a wireless display, a wireless switch, etc. - A real cloud technology is utilized in which a cloud server’s automation settings are applied to the devices in the field.
- The component-based reconfigurable smart farm allows easy addition/deletion of devices on the administrator's screen.
- FarmLink began to be exported overseas
(chrysanthemum farm in Aichi Prefecture, Japan) (2017)
